Client Resources
We offer a variety of on-line resources to help you prepare for your pet’s visit, and keep up to date with your pet’s health care needs.
FORMS
We are accepting new clients in limited numbers at this time. Prior to completing our New Client Application, please review our Welcome Package to determine if we are the right fit for you. All New Client Applications are reviewed and triaged within 2 business days. Completion of a New Client Application does not guarantee acceptance into our hospital, but you will receive a response either way. If you have a medical emergency, please call or text the hospital.
ONLINE STORE
myVetstore.ca is our online store. We offer free home delivery for orders over $100, discounts on pet food when purchased online and there is a wide selection of treats, products and toys available. Please click below to sign up for your free account.
COMMUNICATION & REMINDERS
We work with a provider called Otto for our automated reminders relating to appointments and upcoming due dates. Some of the text messages that are sent out may have a robotic appearance and include a link. If this text is coming from our number (613) 475-5510, you can be assured that the links are safe and that they contain important information for your pet(s).

Financing
Presqu’ile Animal Hospital financing options:
Insurance
Every pet owner should consider pet insurance. Even if you believe you have enough money to cover veterinary costs, pet insurance could still save you thousands of dollars if your pet gets sick or injured.
Especially if you have multiple pets, your out-of-pocket costs could add up considerably without insurance. We offer a free 4-6 week trial of insurance with our puppy and kitten visits.

What to expect
We are happy to invite our clients to come in with each pet for their appointment; if you are ill, please reschedule if possible.
Your veterinary technician will collect medical history prior to the doctor coming in to see your pet. For all patients, if they have been fearful, anxious or aggressive at a veterinary office previously, please let our team know so that we can discuss fear free options and schedule appropriately.
Important Medical History to have ready:
1. What medication(s) is your pet currently taking?
2. What supplements are you giving your pet?
3. What are you using for parasite control?
4. What does your pet eat? Food, treats, liquids
5. What concerns or questions do you have?
Confirm the Plan for Today:
1. What is the focus of our examination today?
2. What diagnostics are being recommended / performed?
3. Are we updating vaccinations?
4. Are we refilling any medications or products?
Examination is completed, and diagnostics are performed. One of our doctors or veterinary technicians will review all findings, recommendations, treatment options etc with you and pre-book your pet’s next appointments as needed.
