Urgent Care & Sick Pet Visits

When your pet is sick or hurt, a thorough exam is needed.

We might recommend bloodwork, x-rays, or other laboratory tests to properly diagnose your pet’s condition. We will get you the results as quickly as we can so that we can create a treatment plan for your pet.

We have a full in-house pharmacy should your pet require any medications.

Our goal is for your pet to recover as comfortably and as quickly as possible from his or her illness or injury. Your pet may require dietary changes, medications, or home modifications (such as moving the litter box) to help your pet achieve a positive outcome. We will fully discuss and explain all recommendations, and we are always here to answer any questions you might have about your pet’s treatment.

Urgent Care and Emergencies During Clinic Hours

If your pet is experiencing an emergency during business hours, please call us prior to coming to the hospital as our doctors may not be available (for example, they may be in surgery and unable to tend to your pet’s needs immediately). If we are able, we will accept emergencies; if not, we would recommend going straight to one of the local emergency clinics.

We will work to get your pet stabilized, and if necessary, arrange for transfer to a 24-hr facility for continued care after hours.
